About the Role:

At DeSoto Collision Center, we're seeking a skilled Collision Center Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for capturing every viable job that enters our facility, writing accurate estimates, and following the vehicle's progress through the repair process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • File Management and DRP Compliance: Ensure all files are up-to-date and accurate per DRP guidelines.
  • Customer Communication: Follow DCC policies for updating customers throughout the repair process.
  • Parts: Perform part searches and place orders as needed.
  • Organized and Safe Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to DCC's dress code and wearing proper safety equipment when necessary.
  • Sales: Encourage customers to leave or schedule their vehicles for repair, preparing complete and accurate estimates to minimize supplements.
  • Team Engagement: Participate in morning meetings, aware of sublet repairs and the status of customers' vehicles, and communicate issues or concerns to team members to resolve problems.

Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Reliable attendance required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of insurance procedures and requirements
  • Efficient in estimating systems (CCC1)
  • Ability to write accurate repair estimates
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to continued learning (I-Car)
