Responsibilities
  • Gather and document patient medical history through thorough interviews.
  • Manage the office schedule and coordinate appointments to optimize productivity.
  • Accurately update and maintain patient medical records, including insurance reports and correspondence.
  • Arrange office admissions and laboratory services to ensure seamless care.
  • Prepare patient charts and correspondence documents as needed.
  • Support medical staff during examinations and procedures.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Certification in medical assistance or equivalent experience.
  • Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary.
  • Strong knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
  • Superior time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work efficiently.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
  • Basic IV catheter management skills, including PICC and Midline catheter dressing changes, catheter flushes, etc.
  • Experience with administering injections, including vaccines and intramuscular antibiotics.
