About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our team at melin. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for generating and maintaining a consensus sales forecast for all channels aligned with our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a consensus demand forecast at the business unit and SKU levels.
  • Analyze historical launches to drive future sales opportunities for NPIs (New Product Introductions).
  • Monitor and communicate changes to sales forecasts, marketing strategies, and business objectives.
  • Work closely with the sales team to gather sell-through data and manage consolidation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with procurement to align purchasing strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations, Finance, Business Administration, or related analytical field.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a Supply Chain discipline, with a minimum of 2 years of direct experience in Demand Planning, Buying, or Sales Forecasting roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Team player with outstanding analytical skills and a problem-solving mentality.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
