We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our well-established and dynamic team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and advocate for our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and function as a patient advocate.
- Assess the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
- Coordinate the patient and family/significant other education process.
- Continuously plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process.
- Participate with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care.
- Communicate effectively all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in timely way.
- Communicate and document changes in patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.
- Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) required within 5 years of employment if applicable.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington.
- Current Emergency Nursing patient care experience.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
- Current American Heart Association ACLS Provider certification by date of hire.
- PALS or ENPC within 6 months of hire.
- TNCC within a year of hire.
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- Two years' experience in Emergency/trauma.
- Certification in emergency nursing is preferred.
