Emergency Room Nurse Leader

Job Summary
Connections Health Solutions is seeking a skilled Emergency Room Nurse Leader to oversee the operation, organization, and flow of recipients through the unit. This role involves delegating nursing assignments, overseeing admissions, transfers, and discharges, as well as assisting with training and orientation of new staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure RN responsibilities are met and abide by company policy
- Assist Nurse Manager and/or Director of Nursing with the implementation of new policies/procedures and collection of necessary data for reporting
- Actively assess work area for non-compliance issues and notify Nurse Manager and/or Director of Nursing of identified concerns
- Monitor the observation, inpatient unit, and the lobby area to coordinate care and safety issues with the Lead BHS
- Ensure coverage for an RN/LPN call-offs for the oncoming shift
- Ensure all Nursing staff on their shift remain in compliance with required trainings
- Complete reviews and audits of staff documentation to determine compliance with JCHAO and OMFL standards
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program
- At least 3-5 years of psychiatric, behavioral health, or relevant experience
- Unrestricted license as Registered Nurse through the Washington State Board of Nursing or hold a multistate licensure privilege
- The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy
- Previous emergency room or crisis psychiatric care experience
- Familiarity with Court Ordered Treatment process
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
