Position Overview

***Hybrid work model - In-office presence required 3 days a week***

The Tax Accountant will report directly to the Global Tax Leader and will play a crucial role in collaborating with corporate functions to finalize tax reporting and enhance the company's tax strategy. This role encompasses both US and international tax analysis, project management support, and collaboration with the Global Tax Leader to ensure compliance, tax accounting, and transfer pricing analysis, as well as foreign tax credit calculations and identifying permanent establishment risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stay informed on changes in U.S. tax legislation and assess their implications
  • Design and implement tax-saving strategies
  • Assist with local tax reporting and audits (annual, quarterly, VAT, etc.)
  • Engage with non-U.S. controllership in various regions
  • Broaden understanding of local tax regulations
  • Facilitate changes in corporate structure to legally and ethically optimize tax responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Global Tax Leader on planning opportunities, reorganizations, acquisitions, and divestitures
  • Support operational leaders in understanding and enhancing tax outcomes sustainably
  • Deliver accurate financial and tax reporting reflecting the impact of tax strategies
  • Contribute to the preparation and documentation of tax planning for accounting and compliance teams
  • Conduct quantitative analyses to support decision-making
  • Maintain and manage the corporate legal entity structure for stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance, JD or Master of Taxation preferred; CPA is a plus
  • At least 2 years of tax experience in public accounting, law firms, or multinational companies
  • Experience with multinational organizations across various business units
