As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and services to the highest quality standards, while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Tire and Wheel Services: Correctly mount, dismount, balance, and repair passenger and light truck tires.
- Lube and Oil Services: Properly perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
- Vehicle Inspections: Properly perform and document vehicle safety inspections.
- Diagnostic and Repair Services: Perform unsupervised diagnosis and repairs of vehicles, including maintenance, brake, steering, suspension, heating and cooling systems, alignment, and light tune-ups.
- Estimating and Communication: Produce accurate repair estimates and communicate with customers and sales staff in understandable terms about the repairs needed to the vehicle.
- Adherence to Standards: Properly adhere to safety and environmental standards, including maintaining a neat and clean work area.
- Education and Experience: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, technical degree a plus, prior experience required, and ASE certifications 1-8.
- Skills and Knowledge: Customer service focus in a retail environment, ability to lift 40-50 lbs, basic conflict resolution skills, solid understanding of the automotive tire and auto service industry, basic understanding of VAST and automotive PC programs, basic math skills to produce accurate repair estimates, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and team player.
