Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Patient Care: Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
- Technician Duties: Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
- Building Long-Term Relationships: Develop strong relationships with patients who are suffering from end-stage renal disease and are receiving treatment on average 3 times a week.
- Education and Support: Educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics and provide support to help them manage their condition.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Comfortable Working in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Healthcare Experience: Previous experience in healthcare is a plus, including certifications such as BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
