Surgical Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Kirby Medical Center. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting surgeons during procedures, preparing the operating suite for each case, and maintaining a high level of sterility and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures
• Prepare the operating suite for each case, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
• Maintain a high level of sterility and organization in the operating room
• Monitor the PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies
• Clean and sterilize all surgical instruments

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, a Surgical Technician Certification, and current BLS Certification. A minimum of one year of work experience in the Operating Room is also required.
