Compensation:
Salary range of $90,000 - $110,000.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service abilities, demonstrate self-motivation, and thrive in a dynamic work environment. Previous experience in property management or involvement with a property Board of Directors is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
Under limited supervision, the Property Manager will serve as the primary liaison for managing and coordinating all aspects of property management, maintenance, and minor construction activities for small to midsized condominium, co-op, and townhouse complexes.
The Property Manager's duties include:
- Overseeing the management of buildings, including maintenance services and vendor coordination.
- Being the direct contact for resident inquiries and concerns related to building issues.
- Placing service orders with maintenance staff or specialized contractors.
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of budgets for each condo association while overseeing financial statements.
- Monitoring contracts for compliance and managing costs effectively.
- Coordinating with the account manager to ensure administrative document compliance, including insurance requirements and assessment collections.
- Soliciting bids for maintenance and construction projects, creating scope spreadsheets, and participating in contractor selection.
- Conducting quality assurance inspections to ensure proper maintenance and adherence to industry standards.
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all property management documents and ensuring operations align with these documents.
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned, including assistance with general property management issues.
- Handling emergency situations after hours as necessary.
Requirements:
Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in condominium property management and direct experience working with a Board of Directors. A CAM license is required.
Additional qualifications include:
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to create budgets, track financials, and provide updates.
- Effective leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Capacity to work independently and self-manage.
Education:
A Bachelor’s Degree along with Community Association Management (CAM) certification or higher in property management is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in condominium property management, including management, customer service, supervisory, administrative, and accounting experience is preferred. Background in engineering, architecture, or construction is a plus. Proficiency in all MS Office applications is essential.
