Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with instructional tasks, such as preparing materials and equipment
  • Provide individualized support to students, including tutoring and mentoring
  • Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Passing score on an approved paraprofessional test
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time position, approximately 5.75 hours per day, 10 months per year
  • Grant-funded position, subject to renewal

Salary: $15.00 per hour (HSD/para test) or $ (semester hours)
