Traffic Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Traffic Control Specialist to join our team at Thoroughbred Traffic Design LLC. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our clients and their work sites.

SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $17.50 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance to ensure that City, State, and MUTCD standards are met on every work site.
- Use Stop/Slow paddles to control the flow of traffic.
- Effective communication using a 2-way radio.
- Be able to warn construction/utility workers when approaching vehicles have failed to adhere to the current traffic signals to prevent accidents and injuries to workers and other motorists.
- Must have reliable transportation to our office.
- Be able to lift 50lbs.
- Be able to stand for long periods of time.
This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling options, including 10-hour shifts and occasional weekend work.
