Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with field specialists and store teams to execute sales plans and strategies
  • Supervise and coach direct reports to achieve sales goals and objectives
  • Conduct frequent store visits to ensure execution of sales plans and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Work with field specialists to resolve store issues and remove barriers to sales growth
  • Provide feedback to corporate merchandising on sales trends and competitive landscape
  • Oversee the execution of corporate weekly sales plans and provide feedback to corporate merchandising
  • Collaborate with corporate merchandising on executing local seasonal and special merchandising programs
  • Monitor daily/weekly reports to identify product cost or transportation charge corrections
  • Identify department training needs and ensure effective use of training
  • Communicate corporate sales plans to store associates, leadership, and field specialists
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • System and software knowledge
  • Ability to manage and lead associates
  • Ability to establish priorities, anticipate consumer trends, and project/react to business issues
Preferred Qualifications
  • Corporate Produce coordinator experience
  • District manager experience
  • Procurement or category management background
