About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Holy Family Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of radiographic procedures, utilizing independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
  • Provide health care services and imaging modalities to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiographic procedures, equipment operation, and radiation safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: Satisfactory completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program. Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
  • Certification/Licensure: Certification by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) in radiography. Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in Radiography.
  • Experience: One to three years' experience preferred, but not required.
  • Other Skills: Knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, equipment operation, radiation safety, positioning techniques, patient transfers, good communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks/projects, ethical and professional conduct, good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics and geriatrics.
