Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Chico. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, providing exceptional customer service to our guests, and contributing to the overall success of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as required to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
  • Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records, including room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, room charges, and occupancy percentages.
  • Delegate housekeeping, security, and service requests, respond to guest inquiries, and resolve guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process reservations and check-ins, and perform other front desk agent duties as required to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to general manager, department heads, and hotel management to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Requirements

  • Must be computer proficient and have experience with accounting or reservation software.
  • Requires a flexible schedule that allows for overnight shift hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, guest services, or night audit experience is preferred, but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
