• Provide Human Resource support to Distribution Center employees, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
• Support hourly full-cycle recruitment, interview, and onboarding processes, from initial application to successful placement.
• Partner with Payroll to manage weekly time sheets and reporting in Kronos, ensuring accurate and timely data.
• Manage the Attendance and Recognition Program, fostering a culture of accountability and appreciation.
• Manage benefits open enrollment meetings with guidance from the HR Manager, ensuring seamless communication and implementation.
• Process worker's compensation claims through our third-party vendor, prioritizing associate well-being and compliance.
• Prioritize safety for all associates through our safety program, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility.
• Manage the Five Below background check process for the Distribution Center, ensuring a secure and compliant environment.
• Oversee Distribution Center access to Kronos, ensuring efficient and secure data management.
• Maintain accurate and consistent employee and other related HR files, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Answer general employee questions regarding benefit plans and eligibility guidelines, providing clear and concise information.
• Handle and/or direct employee inquiries regarding various company policies, ensuring prompt and respectful resolution.
• Assist with special projects as assigned and provide general support to the HR Manager/General Manager and team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Assist the HR team with building events and associate recognition programs, promoting a culture of appreciation and celebration.
• Maintain and update building communication channels and board with relevant current events and postings, keeping associates informed and engaged.
• Assist in tracking organizational training and development efforts, ensuring a culture of growth and development.
• Ensure timely paperwork processing, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Process worker's compensation claims through our third-party vendor, prioritizing associate well-being and compliance.
• Manage the Distribution Center lobby area, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.

• Human Resources experience, with progressive recruiting responsibilities, demonstrating a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
• Strong MS Word, Excel, and Outlook experience, with proficiency in data management and analysis.
• Clear communication and professional interpersonal skills, with an innovative and proactive spirit that adapts quickly to a distribution environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed, demonstrating a commitment to meeting business needs.
• Bilingual - Spanish (not required but a plus), with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse associate population.
