Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Estimator to join our team at Express Employment Professionals. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for commercial landscape and irrigation construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to ensure a complete understanding of the scope of work.
  • Identify and gather material and sub requirements for each project.
  • Maintain accurate cost data and contribute to the team effort.
  • Prepare and submit quantity takeoffs and proposals to clients.
  • Acquire proposals from subcontractors and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Present prepared estimates to clients and follow up on proposals.
  • Develop new business leads and expand our client base.
  • Search for new bid opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in the construction field, preferably in estimating or a related role.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to read and analyze plans, specifications, and related documents.
  • Knowledge of commercial landscape and irrigation construction.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Adobe PDF.
  • Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD, Planswift, or similar programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
