Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapy Clinical Specialist to join our team at Cone Health. This role is responsible for providing personalized care to patients with acute critical conditions and cardiac and pulmonary disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, to inform treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and maintain invasive and non-invasive ventilators to ensure optimal patient recovery.
  • Advocate for patients' needs and deliver high-quality care through effective communication and collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Verify equipment functionality and ensure compliance with established protocols to ensure safe and effective treatment.
  • Document patient care and outcomes as required by regulatory agencies and organizational procedures.
  • Support the administration of advanced therapies, such as bronchoscopies, to treat complex cases.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a 2-year school for Respiratory Therapy.
  • 1 year of clinical experience in Respiratory Care at Cone Health.
  • Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a RRT.
  • Licensed by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board as a CRT or RRT.
  • BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
  • ACLS-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
