Practical Nurse Specialist

Organization: CHOC Rutherford County Clinics
Position Overview: Assists licensed healthcare professionals in delivering patient care, which includes direct patient interactions, providing health information to patients and families, and adhering to established care plans. Collaborates closely with registered nurses or licensed healthcare team members to assess the patient's care plan and monitor progress towards health goals. All patient care activities are conducted under the supervision of a licensed professional in accordance with VUMC standards and regulatory requirements.
Clinic Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Closed on recognized holidays.
Staff must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the first patient appointment and remain until the last patient is seen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engages with patients and families alongside healthcare providers to facilitate health services.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team by adhering to established care plans to ensure effective patient outcomes.
