We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Attorney/Partner to join our dynamic legal team at Jobot. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex legal issues in the areas of Labor, Employment, and Litigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a broad range of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination claims, and workplace safety issues.
  • Represent clients in litigation, including preparing and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and participating in trials.
  • Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop legal strategies and solutions to complex legal problems.
  • Negotiate and draft employment contracts and other legal documents.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including participating in client pitches and networking events.
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and other legal staff.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest legal developments in the areas of labor, employment, and litigation.
Requirements
  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on labor, employment, and litigation.
  • Proven trial and appellate experience.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated business development skills, with a track record of contributing to the growth of a law firm or legal practice.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
  • A high level of professionalism and ethical standards.
