As a Financial Accountant for Solar Finance, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the precision and thoroughness of financial records. You will collaborate closely with investors, lenders, and project operators to guarantee that all financial data is gathered promptly and accurately, adhering to established accounting standards. Key Responsibilities- Maintain precise accounting records for various solar projects.
- Collaborate with project operators and external accounting firms to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation and evaluation of financial statements and investor reports.
- Support the development and analysis of budgets and forecasts.
- Work with tax and legal advisors to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors and lenders.
- Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and transparency in accounting and financial reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and robust technical accounting expertise.
- Experience in project-level accounting and financial reporting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
The anticipated salary range for this role is between $100,000 and $130,000 annually. However, the actual base salary may vary based on individual factors such as market location, relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. The overall compensation package may also include additional components such as annual bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, which encompasses medical, dental, vision, life insurance, financial benefits, and eligibility for 401(k) plans, along with various paid time off options. Specific details regarding these benefits will be provided upon receiving a job offer.
