Mass General Brigham is seeking a per diem RN to join our Float Pool team. As a per diem RN, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously and function as part of a collaborative team, covering gaps due to unexpected call outs, long-term leaves, planned vacations, staffing vacancies, etc.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a variety of practice environments, bring your talent to our team, and join us in driving medicine forward. As a per diem RN, you will be expected to cover and travel to various practices across the South Shore, including South Weymouth, Braintree, Hingham, Scituate, Pembroke, Duxbury, and Buzzards Bay.

Responsibilities
  • Phone triage and handle patient interactions via telephone
  • Provide advice in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Coordinate proper disposition
  • Perform injections, IV infusions, vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy draws, patient education, and medication administration
Requirements
  • Licensed RN in Massachusetts
  • At least 2 years of experience as a RN required
  • Electronic Medical Record experience strongly preferred
  • Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged
