**Job Requirements**

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Design Engineer to join our team at Microsoft Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced video technologies.

**About the Role**

In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to solve challenging problems in the area of Xbox video. You will also work on low-level drivers and firmware interacting with state-of-the-art graphics and video hardware.

**Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements for video scenarios.
  • Drive identification of dependencies and development of design documents for video products.
  • Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to establish and improve performance and maintainability of video systems.
  • Leverage subject-matter expertise of product features and partner with stakeholders to drive project plans and release plans.

  • Deep design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

**Salary Information**

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year.
