Job Summary

The Quality/Accreditation Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting Parkview North Hospital's mission and vision by assisting with the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient safety and performance improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in researching and analyzing quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement plans to improve patient safety and quality of care
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to educate and communicate quality improvement initiatives
  • Oversee and assist in the coordination and facilitation of regulatory and accreditation activities
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health, Business, Sciences, Biostatistics, or related field
  • Strong medical background and experience in a clinical setting
  • Training/knowledge in regulatory requirements and standards
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure or certification in an area of expertise
  • Experience in quality management, regulatory compliance, utilization review, infection control, risk management, or related medical research settings
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Database and spreadsheet experience
  • Public speaking and presentation skills
  • Statistics, variance monitoring, or statistical process control knowledge
