Position Overview:

The Test Technician will be responsible for testing materials, components, and finished products, as well as maintaining accurate records of test results. This position requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tests on raw materials, in-process products, and final products according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collect, analyze, and record test data to ensure quality and performance specifications are met.
  • Operate and maintain testing equipment, ensuring calibration and proper functioning.
  • Assist in troubleshooting product performance issues and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support product development and improvement.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lab environment, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in product testing, quality control, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with testing procedures and equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for recording and analyzing test data.
  • Experience with natural or sustainable products is a plus.
