About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Healthcare Office Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating front office activities, and ensuring seamless communication with patients, referral sources, and colleagues.


Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling Appointments: Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring timely scheduling and efficient use of resources.
  • Patient Record Management: Create and maintain accurate and complete patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
  • Front Office Operations: Manage incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Financial Management: Process payments, handle billing research, and provide financial counseling to patients.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with less than one year of customer service, administration, or related experience. A valid driver's license and driving record within company standards are also required.


Preferred Qualifications
  • EMR Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience with electronic health/medical record systems (preferably NextGen and/or OnBase).
  • Clinical Knowledge: Working knowledge of HIPAA and other medical insurance regulations and terminology for private payer, state, and federal plans.

Hanger, Inc. provides a competitive compensation package, including an estimated $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
