Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to assist our dentists in providing top-notch patient care. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to ensure seamless delivery of dental services, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and other materials, as required.
  • Take and develop dental x-rays using state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental equipment according to established protocols.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques to promote optimal health and wellness.
  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records to ensure efficient communication and coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of our dental clinic.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of dental procedures and terminology is essential for success in this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for interacting with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment is crucial for maintaining a positive and productive work atmosphere.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are vital for ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient workflow management.
