Position Overview:

The Registered Nurse, adhering to the standards and scope of professional nursing practice, delivers comprehensive patient-family centered care that addresses both potential and existing health and illness concerns for patients and their families.

As a Registered Nurse, under the guidance of the Nurse Manager/Director, you will have the continuous opportunity to exercise initiative and independent professional judgment. You will utilize the nursing process to provide thorough patient-centered nursing care for your assigned patients. As a vital member of a nursing care team, you will oversee and direct the work of paraprofessional and other team members.

This care is delivered as part of a customer-focused, service-oriented team that embodies the values of Mills Peninsula Health Services within a confidential environment.

The Registered Nurse integrates the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and the Patients' Bill of Rights, along with Professional Scope and Standards of Practice and relevant Specialty Standards into their nursing practice.

Job Description:

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing: Preferred
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
RN - Registered Nurse of California
BLS - Basic Life Support
ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of experience in an acute clinical setting in nursing and/or Med-Surgical Neurology unit

Compensation:
The pay range is $76.54 to $103.58 per hour. This salary range may vary based on location and other factors including experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, department equity, training, and organizational needs.

Base pay is just one component of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
