Job Summary

Crown Shields Transport, LLC is seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to provide safe and timely transportation services to physically challenged individuals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong knowledge of the Dallas Metroplex area, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
  • Safely transport patients in and out of vans, ensuring proper wheelchair securement and patient safety
  • Abide by all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a safe driving record
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding appointments, schedule changes, and emergency situations
  • Utilize GPS and other technology to locate pick-up and drop-off locations
  • Adhere to HIPAA policies and maintain confidentiality of patient information

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in non-emergency medical transportation
  • Active/valid certification in Wheelchair Securement, CPR, First Aid, and Defensive Driving
  • Knowledge of the Dallas Metroplex area and ability to navigate safely
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and push over 300 pounds up a ramp
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
