Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Responsible for the daily flow of activities and timely provision of services.
  • Ensures appropriate scheduling and staffing of employees according to hospital and departmental standards.
  • Monitors and evaluates daily productivity statistics in collaboration with the Director.
  • Acts as a clinical resource for staff and physicians.
  • Create or assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization and nursing standards.
  • Follows patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, use of universal precautions, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to isolation procedures.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

LICENSURE/ CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Current registration with the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas as a Registered Nurse.
