Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical/surgical nursing and excellent observational skills. They will be able to work collaboratively with interns, residents, fellows, and attending physicians to provide high-quality patient care.
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for maintaining the standards of professional nursing practice and demonstrating competence for patient care through the utilization of the nursing process. This includes continuous assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and patient education.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience and be licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in Massachusetts. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to function under stress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations of patient care
- Develop and implement educational programs for patients and families
Requirements:
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
- Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
