Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
This role encompasses oversight of Heavy Duty Trucks, Construction Equipment, and Body/Collision services. The individual will act as a catalyst for transformation, collaborating closely with Senior Leadership and Corporate Service & Parts Directors to fulfill Nuss' operational objectives and address customer requirements.


Core Duties Include:

  • Strategically guide and influence Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and essential suppliers to align with Nuss' objectives.
  • Oversee Service, Parts, Sales, and Warranty operations.
  • Identify and implement critical initiatives within fixed operations focusing on Safety, Sales, Growth, and Efficiency.
  • Stay informed about state and federal regulations affecting business units and drive processes to safeguard the enterprise.
  • Monitor market conditions, including competitor offerings and both internal and external factors.
  • Address high-profile challenges within fixed operations and implement effective solutions.
  • Enhance financial performance by leveraging data to identify trends and operational needs.
  • Maintain active visibility across all departments and locations, engaging with Customers, General Managers, Sales, and Service & Parts teams.
  • Identify developmental needs for Directors, Managers, and Supervisors, promoting continuous improvement in leadership and technical capabilities.
  • Ensure high levels of service and customer satisfaction, focusing on Value, Quality, and Sustainability.
  • Drive technological innovations to meet both internal and external demands.
  • Foster a culture that encourages development, retention, and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications:

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field is preferred, although relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.


Experience:
10-15 years of experience in Heavy Duty Truck and/or Construction Equipment dealership or fleet service environments. Proven leadership and managerial experience are essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong judgment, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to supporting service staff and customers while managing costs.


Additional Skills:
Results-oriented with a collaborative approach, capable of building relationships, taking initiative, and prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capabilities. Strong critical thinking skills with a strategic outlook. Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and build trust and credibility. Demonstrates resilience and determination to overcome challenges and fulfill commitments.
