Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at ConMet Monroe Facility. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines, performing quality control checks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machines, including CNC Mills and CNC Lathes, to produce high-quality parts.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety protocols.
  • Perform minor troubleshooting and maintenance on CNC machines.
  • Record production data and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of CNC machines and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read blueprints.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CNC programming experience.
  • Knowledge of SPC and quality control principles.
  • Forklift certification.
Working Conditions

The employee must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a noisy environment. Personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel-toed shoes, is required at all times.
