Weekend Nurse Supervisor Opportunity

Signet Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Weekend Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Medstar Washington Hospital Center. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing functions on weekends in the Inpatient Psychiatry Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct all aspects of patient care on weekends.
  • Oversee personnel management, staffing, and coordination of nursing services for scheduled working shifts.
  • Meet with patients and family members to discuss concerns regarding patient care.
  • Resolve issues collaboratively with hospital administration and outside facilities.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Licensed by the Board of Nurse Examiners for The District of Columbia.
  • One year Adult Psych, and/or Chemical Dependency nursing experience preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
