Public Area Attendant

Join our team at Htel Swexan, a luxury hotel in the heart of Dallas, as a Public Area Attendant. As a key member of our Housekeeping Team, you will be responsible for maintaining the public guest and employee areas to the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain public areas, including restrooms, lobby areas, fitness center, pool, social club, and employee locker rooms.
  • Inspect and restock public area restrooms, lobby areas, and other designated areas.
  • Deliver and pick-up guest request items via the housekeeping communication system.
  • Restock public areas with guest supplies, such as towels and water.
  • Perform floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing tile, marble, and brass.
  • Remove trash from designated areas and dispose of it in a central area.
  • Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume of other public area attendants, house attendants, and/or housekeepers.
  • Interact with guests, making them feel welcomed, comfortable, and well taken care of by handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality.
  • Provide genuine hospitality and recognition in the work area, promoting hotel services and products.
  • Be proficient in the safe handling of all relevant equipment and machinery, reporting defects and accidents to management immediately.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years' experience in a luxury hotel preferred.
  • Previous Housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to understand and working knowledge of English.
  • Strong eye for detail and ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including any day of the week, all shifts, and holidays.
