Job Title: Senior Emergency Services Coordinator

Job Summary:

The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Emergency Services Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing situational awareness, analysis, and identification of emerging and near-term threats. You will also be responsible for preparing, approving, and disseminating alert notifications and situation reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide situational awareness and analysis of all risk incidents/events
  • Prepare, approve, and disseminate alert notifications and situation reports
  • Formulate possible courses of action and provide guidance to CSWC staff
  • Coordinate and approve missions for state agency resources and/or requests for federal resources
  • Perform complex, difficult, and sensitive emergency planning/management work

Requirements:

  • Highly skilled and experienced in emergency management and operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Valid Driver's License (DL)
