Overview:
As a vital representative of the Parking and Transit Services Office, the Campus Parking Regulation Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the organized and secure utilization of parking facilities on campus. This position involves both educational outreach and enforcement duties to uphold parking regulations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Issue citations accurately to vehicles that are in breach of the parking regulations established by the University of Tennessee.
2. Serve as an ambassador for the department, providing assistance and information to the campus community regarding parking policies.

Qualifications:
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory. Proficiency in basic computer operations is essential, as citations are processed using handheld devices.

Experience:
A comprehensive understanding of parking policies and regulations is necessary. Officers must also possess a solid familiarity with the campus layout.

Skills:
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Capacity to manage challenging situations with irate individuals effectively and calmly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Additional Requirements:
- Valid Tennessee Driver's License.
- General knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment.
