Parking Enforcement Officer Job Summary

As a Parking Enforcement Officer with the University of Tennessee, you will play a critical role in maintaining the orderly and safe use of parking resources on campus. This position requires a strong understanding of parking policies and regulations, as well as excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce parking regulations and issue citations to vehicles parked in violation of University of Tennessee parking policies.
  • Provide educational and enforcement activities to promote compliance with parking regulations.
  • Work effectively with the campus community to resolve parking-related issues.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic computer training is essential for this position.
  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of parking policies and regulations is required.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to independently handle situations with irate customers.

Working Conditions:

  • Valid Tennessee Driver's License is required.
  • General working knowledge of mechanical equipment and tools.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
