Jobot is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic BAS/Controls Estimator to join our innovative team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions for our diverse range of projects.

About the Role

As a BAS/Controls Estimator, you will be responsible for:

1. Developing and maintaining accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for various construction projects.
2. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and scope of work.
3. Evaluating and adjusting estimates to ensure alignment with project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
4. Participating in the tender process, including proposal preparation and bid package development.
5. Providing strategic recommendations to optimize cost efficiency and project performance.
6. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and market conditions to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency.
7. Implementing risk management strategies to minimize potential project cost overruns.
8. Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and secure the best deals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the BAS/Controls industry.
2. Previous experience within mechanical contracting.
3. Strong computer skills and strong communication abilities.
4. Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
5. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
6. A solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
7. The ability to interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
8. A strong sense of professionalism and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct.
9. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
