Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Permanent BAS/Controls Estimator to join our innovative team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions for our diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, analyze, and maintain accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for various construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements.
  • Evaluate and adjust estimates to ensure alignment with project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
  • Participate in the tender process, including proposal preparation and bid package development.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to optimize cost efficiency and project performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and market conditions to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implement risk management strategies to minimize potential project cost overruns.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and secure the best deals.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the BAS/Controls industry.
  • Previous experience within mechanical contracting.
  • Strong computer skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Ability to interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong sense of professionalism and commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
