Job Summary:

Our Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing screening and diagnostic breast imaging and procedures. This technologist must produce high-quality images in both diagnostic and screening exams. They will interact with clinicians and other departments to coordinate patient care.

As a Senior Mammography Technologist, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in mammography and hold ARRT (M) or CRT (M) Mammography Certification. They will also have a strong understanding of radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).

The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, rotating shifts and covering weekends and holidays as needed. They will also be willing to train and interact with students and new hires.

Key qualifications include:
  • Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA-approved school
  • ARRT (R) or CRT (R) Radiology License
  • BLS Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification
  • Proof of mammography-specific training of at least 40 documented hours, if certified after April 27, 1999
  • Proof of having performed at least 200 mammography exams in the last 24 months (rolling 24-month calendar)
  • Certificates of at least 15 CEU's in Mammography in the last 36-month period (rolling 36-month calendar)
  • Proof of MQSA-approved 8 hours each of Digital and 3D Tomosynthesis training


Our ideal candidate will be flexible in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays. They will also be willing to assist at any of the Medical Center Locations.
