About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Village Pantry. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in driving the success of our convenience store by overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and shift leaders to ensure excellent customer service and a positive store environment.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure accurate inventory reporting to minimize losses and maximize sales.
  • Financial Management: Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure the store meets its financial goals.
  • Customer Service: Foster a customer-centric culture by providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints, and promoting loyalty programs.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is well-maintained, clean, and safe for customers and employees.
Requirements
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Access to a car or other motorized vehicle
  • Liability insurance on such vehicle
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and days
  • Fluent in English with basic math skills
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
