Position Overview:

This is an excellent opportunity for driven leaders focused on enhancing operational efficiency within the State government. The selected candidate will oversee a team dedicated to optimizing financial operations and ensuring effective program implementation across various agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

As a supervisor, you will:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Business & Finance Operations Analysts, setting clear objectives and conducting performance assessments.
  • Guide the state's project portfolio to meet performance benchmarks established by leadership.
  • Provide analytical support and strategic advice to the Governor and state agencies, assessing program effectiveness and recommending policy adjustments.
  • Review financial and operational reports, presenting findings to senior management.
  • Assist department heads in launching new initiatives through detailed fiscal analysis.
  • Perform additional duties as required.


Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in public administration, finance, economics, or a related field, along with six years of relevant experience.

Experience may be considered in lieu of education on a year-for-year basis.



Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates with a master's degree in a relevant field and experience in delivering formal presentations. Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Excel and Access is highly desirable.
