Gallery Attendant

We are seeking a part-time Gallery Attendant to join our team at the ND Museum of Arts. As a Gallery Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our exhibitions and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and engage with all Museum visitors, introducing current exhibitions and programs.
  • Be aware of security issues related to the artwork or Art Museum visitors.
  • Remind visitors that photographing the art and physical contact with the art are prohibited, and that food and beverages are not permitted.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Represent the Museum to the public, staff, and visitors in a positive manner.
  • Stay informed about Museum exhibitions, programs, and activities.
Requirements:
  • Must have accepted a Federal Work Study award for the Academic Year.
  • Successful completion of a criminal history background check.
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits.
