Gallery Attendant Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Gallery Attendant. This part-time position is ideal for students who are interested in learning about art and gallery management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact with visitors and provide information about exhibitions.
  • Ensure the safety and security of artwork by being present in the gallery.
  • Prepare the gallery for visitors and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist the Curator with exhibition tasks as needed.
  • Work with our online database to manage exhibition information.
Requirements:
  • Must be available to work at least 4 hours during normal operating times (Monday-Thursday, 9am-4pm).
  • Must have an interest in learning about art and gallery management.
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits during the semester of employment.
  • Accepted Federal Work Study award.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check.
