About the Role

The Safety and Training Advisor will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and customers. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, as well as providing training and education to employees on safety protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide training and education to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Investigate incidents and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in safety and training, preferably in the electric utility industry.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety laws and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
