Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of operators to achieve production targets, provide coaching and feedback, and promote positive employee behavior and development.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement operational systems, including scheduling, continuous improvement projects, production reporting, inventory tracking, and Visual Factory practices to support reliable and cost-effective operations.
  • Health and Safety: Oversee health and safety programs on assigned shifts, addressing unsafe conditions and behaviors promptly.
  • Quality Management: Ensure the quality of products manufactured on the shift by supporting the development of quality management systems.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication within the team, including leading shift-start huddles.
  • Inventory Management: Manage shipping and inventory activities with a focus on timely, customer-centric service.
  • Meetings and Collaboration: Plan, organize, and participate in meetings, including team and staff meetings.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate degree in operations management, engineering, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations management within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management. Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve operational issues. Proficient in relevant software for data analysis, production planning, and inventory management, with advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance. Initiative-driven, highly organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Work Schedule

7 days on, 7 days off - 12 hour night shift (7pm-7am)

Compensation

$70-$90k
