Site Technician

We are seeking a skilled Site Technician to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC. As a Site Technician, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at various customer locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct on-site electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic troubleshooting to determine the cause of equipment malfunctions and establish necessary repairs.
- Perform general post-repair audits to ensure all required safety features are functional or document deficiencies and attach a deficiency tag to the crane.
- Document findings and make corrective recommendations to the customer, including a written safety notification of any observed or known safety concerns.
- Consult with customers regarding all repair and safety-related issues and discuss recommendations to assist them in improving their material handling applications.
- Complete and provide proper electronic documentation using established company digital tools, obtaining customer signatures and acceptance.
- Produce sales leads during service calls and report to the service office, following established guidelines.
- Read and understand the contents of all OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI, and other industry codes or regulations.
- Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience.
- Minimum one year of experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
- Must have and maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver's license.
- Must be willing to work off the ground and travel to various locations.
- Competitive hourly rate of $22-$48, determined based on skills, geographic location, internal equity, market/data analysis, number of years of prior relevant experience, degrees, and/or certifications.
- Benefits package, including medical plan, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with match, profit sharing, identity theft protection, accident insurance, travel insurance, and more.
- 2 weeks of vacation per year, pro-rated for the first year depending on start date and years of service.
- 5 days of sick leave per year, pro-rated for the first year after 90 days of service.
- 10 paid holidays per year.
