Space Systems Acquisition Manager

We are a diverse engineering and technology company that provides innovative solutions to governments and private industries worldwide. Our team is seeking an experienced Space Systems Acquisition Specialist to support our Space Systems Command Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (SSC/SZ) portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform space acquisitions and provide technical advice and assistance for all projects and programs, as required, to support any stage of the acquisition life cycle.
- Assist with management of the portfolio by providing information, advice, and recommendations for the effective alignment of portfolio acquisitions, manpower, and funding.
- Assist the Government on planning and coordinating infrastructure projects and requirements.
- Develop policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the acquisition process.
- Prepare periodic status reports, coordinate and execute periodic staff meetings and technical interchange meetings, and develop acquisition plans, schedules, and executive program briefings.
- Advise and assist digital engineering initiatives for acquisition, sustainment, and launch.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with a BA/BS in a related field.
- Experience in performing acquisition management activities related to contracting, legal, policy, and budget reviews, contracting, finance and compliance in the government (military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit/non-profit government support/development Contractor arena.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and writing) skills.
- Must have experience in using critical thinking to prepare written reports and presentations for decision makers.
- MUST HAVE AT A MINIMUM, A CURRENT TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A TS/SCI CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
