Job Summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Crew Leader to oversee the installation of electrical equipment and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and scheduling crews to complete assigned work orders, ensuring high-quality installations and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation Oversight: Ensure that electrical installations meet or exceed codes, contractual obligations, and industry best practices.
  • Crew Management: Plan, organize, and schedule crews to complete assigned work orders, assigning tasks and ensuring quality inspections.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes, including pre-installation, initial, and follow-up inspections.
  • Documentation: Properly document and return CQC checklists, ensuring timely installation inspections and adherence to QAQC schedules.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Initiate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring issues arising during construction are properly documented and communicated for resolution.
  • Performance Monitoring: Review and provide feedback on weekly installation quality scorecards to ensure systemic issues are addressed.
  • Crew Performance: Monitor and improve crew performance, ensuring mitigation and elimination of nonconformities.
  • Tool and Equipment Management: Maintain accurate inventory of tools and equipment, ensuring accountability and security.
  • Accident and Incident Reporting: Follow established procedures for responding and reporting accidents and incidents.
Requirements
  • Education: 6 years of experience in the electrical industry with a High School Degree or GED.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Journeyman license, preferred; OSHA 10; NFPA 70E Certification.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift at least 100 pounds, relocate a 12-foot stepladder, and work at various heights up to 60 feet.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to electrical equipment and systems. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is essential.
